1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through www.turnandlevel.com, operated under the brand Turnandlevel.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, together with the applicable policies referred to herein. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.
Turnandlevel sells household hand tools and related accessories, including tape measures, mini spirit levels, screwdriver sets, hex keys and parts organisers.
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through our website. Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
2. Business and Contact Information
Brand Name: Turnandlevel
Website: https://www.turnandlevel.com
Email: auditor@turnandlevel.com
Customers may contact us by email regarding products, orders, delivery, returns, refunds or other matters relating to a purchase.
3. Products and Product Information
We aim to provide clear and accurate descriptions of the products offered on our website, including their stated characteristics, dimensions, included items and intended uses.
Customers should review the information provided on the relevant product page before placing an order. Product photographs are intended to illustrate the items offered. Minor differences in colour or appearance may occur due to lighting, screen settings or photographic conditions, but this does not remove any applicable legal requirement for the goods to conform to their description and contract.
All products are subject to availability at the time an order is accepted.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been accepted and we cannot fulfil the purchase, we will contact the customer and arrange an appropriate refund where applicable.
4. Prices and Orders
All prices and applicable delivery charges will be displayed during the ordering process before the customer completes the purchase.
The final order total, including applicable charges and taxes where required, will be shown before payment is submitted.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product selection, quantities, delivery details and total price before confirming an order.
An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order. Acceptance of the order and formation of the purchase contract will be determined by the order confirmation and the applicable checkout terms.
If an order contains an apparent pricing or listing error, we will contact the customer to resolve the matter in accordance with applicable law. We will not impose a revised price on an accepted order without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, the customer’s agreement.
5. Payment Terms
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Customers must provide accurate information necessary to complete their purchases. Orders may be subject to payment authorisation and transaction verification before processing.
If a payment is declined or cannot be completed, the order may remain unconfirmed until the payment issue has been resolved. We will not treat an unsuccessful payment attempt as confirmation that the order has been paid.
Our website does not establish recurring charges through an ordinary one-time product purchase. Any separate recurring arrangement, if ever offered, would require clear disclosure and appropriate customer agreement.
6. Order Processing and Dispatch
Orders are prepared for dispatch after the order has been confirmed and the required payment has been received.
Processing time may vary according to the order and the information provided during checkout. Applicable dispatch information will be communicated through the relevant order details.
Customers should ensure that their email address, delivery address and contact details are accurate. If an order requires clarification, processing may be delayed while the necessary information is obtained.
If a change or cancellation is requested after an order has entered the dispatch process, we will review the request according to the order status and applicable law. This does not limit any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Turnandlevel serves customers in European markets, with orders dispatched from Mexico.
We work with established delivery services, including DHL, FedEx and UPS Priority services, as appropriate to the destination and the available shipping arrangements.
The estimated transit time is 5–12 business days from dispatch. This is an estimate rather than a fixed delivery date. Actual delivery may vary according to the destination, carrier operations, customs procedures where applicable, public holidays and other circumstances affecting transport.
Any applicable delivery charges and available delivery information will be displayed or communicated during the ordering process.
Delivery Tracking
We use the email address supplied at checkout to send relevant order and delivery updates. Tracking emails may be sent at key stages, including:
- When the order has been dispatched.
- When tracking records indicate arrival at a logistics facility.
- When the parcel enters the local delivery stage.
- When the carrier records a delivery outcome.
The timing and availability of individual tracking updates depend on the information supplied by the carrier.
Customers should check their inbox and spam or junk folders for order-related messages.
Delayed, Missing or Unusual Deliveries
If an order has not arrived within the estimated transit period, please contact auditor@turnandlevel.com with your order number.
We will review the available tracking information and, where appropriate, contact the carrier to investigate the delay or missing parcel.
Following the investigation and consideration of the circumstances, we will arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a full refund or a replacement shipment, in accordance with applicable law and the customer’s legal rights.
An investigation by a carrier does not remove any applicable statutory remedy or require the customer to wait beyond a period permitted by law.
Responsibility Before Delivery
Turnandlevel remains responsible for the goods until the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of them, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
The risk of loss or damage does not transfer to the customer merely because the parcel has been handed to a carrier.
If the customer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered by Turnandlevel, the allocation of transport risk will be determined by the applicable mandatory law.
8. Right of Withdrawal: 14 Days
Where the EU consumer withdrawal rules apply, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify Turnandlevel of the decision to withdraw within the applicable withdrawal period.
Please send your request to:
Email: auditor@turnandlevel.com
Subject: Right of Withdrawal – Order [Order Number]
The message should include the customer’s name, order number, relevant products and a clear statement that the customer wishes to withdraw from the purchase.
Customers may also use any applicable statutory withdrawal form where provided. Use of a particular form is not required if the customer otherwise communicates an unambiguous withdrawal decision within the legal period.
Returning the Goods
After notifying us of the withdrawal, the customer must send the goods back without undue delay and, where the EU withdrawal rules apply, no later than 14 days after communicating the decision to withdraw, unless a different rule applies under mandatory law.
Goods may be examined to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The customer may be liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that examination, where permitted by applicable law.
Unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law provides otherwise, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind withdrawal, provided this obligation and the relevant cost information were disclosed as required before purchase.
This return-cost provision does not apply where the return is required because goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise do not conform to the contract, in circumstances where applicable law requires the trader to bear the cost.
Refunds Following Withdrawal
Where a valid withdrawal is exercised, we will reimburse the payments required by law, including the applicable original delivery charge where required.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and within the applicable legal period, generally no later than 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or the customer has supplied evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first, where this is permitted by applicable law. This does not apply where we have offered to collect the goods.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise and the arrangement complies with applicable law.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If a customer receives an item that is damaged, faulty, incomplete or different from the item ordered, please contact auditor@turnandlevel.com as soon as reasonably practicable.
Please include:
- The order number.
- The name of the affected product.
- A brief description of the issue.
- Clear photographs showing the damage, fault or incorrect item, where reasonably available.
Assessment Without Returning a Damaged Item
For a reported item that arrives damaged, we may assess the matter using the photographs and order information provided. Where the available evidence is sufficient, we may arrange a refund or replacement without requiring the customer to return the damaged item.
We will inform the customer of the proposed resolution after reviewing the available information. If additional information is reasonably necessary, we may request it before making a decision.
This process is intended to simplify the handling of reported damage. It does not restrict any mandatory legal remedy available to the customer.
Goods That Do Not Conform to the Contract
Where goods are faulty or do not conform to the purchase contract, the customer retains the remedies available under applicable law. Depending on the circumstances and the relevant legal requirements, these may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.
Any required remedy will be provided in accordance with the applicable legal conditions and time limits. Nothing in this section requires a customer to surrender a statutory remedy merely because a photograph-based assessment is unavailable or because a return has not yet been arranged.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment method and the relevant financial institution.
For returned goods, the applicable withdrawal refund process will be followed. For damaged, faulty, missing or incorrectly supplied goods, the appropriate resolution will be determined according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Where a full refund is due, it will include the amounts required by applicable law. A replacement shipment will not be used to restrict a customer’s right to a refund where that right has arisen under mandatory law.
11. Cancellations and Amendments
Customers wishing to cancel or amend an order should contact auditor@turnandlevel.com promptly and provide their order number.
We will consider cancellation or amendment requests according to the stage of order processing and the applicable contractual and statutory rules.
If an order has already been dispatched, an ordinary request to stop the shipment may no longer be practical. However, this does not remove any applicable 14-day withdrawal right or other mandatory legal remedy.
Any refund arising from a cancellation will be processed in accordance with the relevant terms and applicable law.
12. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are expected to:
- Provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information.
- Review product descriptions and relevant dimensions before ordering.
- Use products for their stated purposes and follow any instructions supplied with the goods.
- Keep order confirmations and relevant purchase correspondence.
- Contact us with clear and accurate information when reporting an order issue.
Customers should not use our website for unlawful activities or submit information that they are not entitled to provide.
These responsibilities do not reduce any statutory rights or transfer obligations to customers that applicable law places on the seller.
13. Intellectual Property
The text, photographs, graphics and other materials published on www.turnandlevel.com may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except where permitted by law or expressly authorised by the relevant rights holder, website materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished or commercially distributed without appropriate permission.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions grants a customer ownership of website content or any intellectual property rights belonging to Turnandlevel or another rights holder.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to that restriction, Turnandlevel is responsible for losses that are legally attributable to our breach of contract or other actionable conduct, in accordance with applicable law.
We are not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances that are not legally attributable to us, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods, personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be restricted.
15. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
Where events outside our reasonable control affect order processing or delivery, we will take reasonable steps to review the situation and communicate relevant information to affected customers.
Such events may include severe transport disruption, public emergencies or interruptions to carrier operations.
This section does not automatically cancel an order, remove our delivery obligations or exclude a customer’s statutory rights. Any cancellation, refund or other remedy will be determined in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
16. Privacy and Personal Data
Turnandlevel processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
Personal data may be used to process orders, arrange delivery, communicate with customers, administer refunds and meet relevant legal obligations.
For details about the categories of information collected, the purposes of processing, data retention and applicable data protection rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy at www.turnandlevel.com.
Privacy enquiries may be sent to auditor@turnandlevel.com.
17. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern about a product, order, delivery or refund, please contact auditor@turnandlevel.com and include your order number and a description of the issue.
We will review the information provided and communicate with you regarding the next steps.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may pursue the remedies available through the competent courts or other dispute-resolution procedures applicable under the governing law and mandatory consumer protection rules.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from contacting a competent consumer protection authority or exercising a statutory right to bring proceedings in a court with appropriate jurisdiction.
18. Governing Law and Consumer Protection
These Terms and Conditions are intended to operate consistently with the laws applicable to Turnandlevel’s business in Mexico and the mandatory consumer protection rules applicable to purchases made by consumers in their country of residence.
Mexican law may govern matters relating to the operation of the business, subject to any mandatory rules that apply to the transaction.
For consumers protected by applicable EU or national consumer law, a choice of governing law must not deprive them of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement. Where applicable, consumers retain the benefit of mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings before a competent court under the relevant jurisdictional rules.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to waive a consumer’s non-excludable statutory rights.
19. Amendments to These Terms
Turnandlevel may revise these Terms and Conditions when business procedures or applicable legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on www.turnandlevel.com with its revision date. The version applicable to an order will be determined in accordance with the contract and applicable law.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under an accepted order or mandatory law.
